About Us - Well, Me

Robert has enjoyed teaching seniors how to use computers, "surf the Internet" and "email" their children and grandchildren. He is known for his fun, humorous and relaxed style of teaching.

Robert has been working with the elderly for over 36 years. He studied Social Work and Gerontology at Miami University. He has enjoyed working as an activities director and as a social worker for seniors.

He earned his Master of Education degree from Saint Martin's College after teaching there for five years. Another five years were spent teaching Computer Fundamentals through Pierce College.

Robert also taught computer classes and workshops through Senior Services for South Sound at the downtown Olympia and Lacey Senior Centers.

He has provided computer training through Olympia Parks and Recreation, the WA State Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation and through WA State Dept. of Labor and Industries and has offered staff trainings at businesses such as Red Wind Casino.
